Love the color of this street lamp by my sister's house...always delivers every shot in a captivating burning tone.
How simple things tranforms one's perspective!!!
I wasn't prepared to see such a beautiful display of burning candles when I visited a Gurudwara (house of worship for the Sikhs) for the first time with my friend and her beautiful daughter, last diwali, and somehow managed to take some beautiful shots with my phone camera. Blessed was that day!!!
Fire fire burning last winter in the backyard.

Rose tea that I try to enjoy as often...I always have it in this huge glass and would see how they surface to the brim and gradually lose their color...sometimes, some petals float around reminding me of a beautiful scene from the movie 'Perfume-story of a murderer' where a woman's body is kept afloat in a huge glass tumbler filled with water. The movie haunts yoo crazy.

But this one needed some minor settings here and there (if you call placing tissues around it a set-up) and since I didn't have a camera handy at that moment, I used my phone camera. I don't like to edit or touch up my photos that much, so this is pretty much how it was in reality. The flames just mesmerized me.

Or what is on the other side of the wall
Only embracing it all will hope surface
One each time, when skywards the heart seeks.
Taken at 2:30pm, Mcleodganj.
The same taken at 7:30pm. Beautiful how the clouds seem to wrap around the enormous mountain of rock.

"There is the imagined. And there is the imagination".
I have always been fascinated with how the sun immerses itself gradually into the vast horizon. Sometimes its quick and sometimes it burns out slowly. I would be deeply captivated with such view every time, and try to capture it with any equipment, if not my memory. While organizing all my photographs I realized that I had actually snapped sunsets in all the places I have been. Maybe a series of blazing sunsets could follow through in this blog.
This is one of the most recent one, taken from my 4th floor apartment.
